There is a continues tic sound from the hydrolic system.
some times it takes a while for the car to rise after starting
in my country its not easy to fiend a spere parts.
Very comfortable especially on the front seats
amasing suspention.
Salam allekum. The clicking of the hydraulic system is normal, but only every 30 seconds or so. If it clicks each 15 seconds or less you have to change the sphere that is couples with what is called in French the "conjocteur-disjoncteur". This will resolve the clicking problem, the long time needed for the car to rise and will protect the hydraulic pump against fatigue. This sphere costs in France about 80 euros. Good luck.
This sphere is directly behind the coolant radiator, and is of course green in colour. Here in the UK it cost £20 GBP and if you can't change it yourself another £20 GBP for a garage to fit. It will stop the clicking too, it’s also an important safety reserve.
Also look at the hydraulic fluid it should be green, if its any other colour it needs changing AND clean the filters in the tank too, this will help to raise the suspension quicker in the morning- again not a difficult or expensive job to do. Remember only use green LHM fluid.
I am actually looking for a pair of front suspension sphere for my 1.8i 16V Citroen Xantia. The prices offered online are quite expensive. Can anyone advise me where I can get affordable spheres. I am from london and anything in west london would be great.
It's not in London, but South Wales Propshafts used to stock a range of spheres for various Citroens - don't know about prices though.
Re buying spheres.
There's a shop on a well known auction site that sells brand new amtex spheres for around £40 a pair, also gsfcarparts and eurocarparts sell them around £25 each.
Changing them is easy search the internet for details.
