1998 Citroen Xantia Estate Exclusive review from UK and Ireland
"A high performance bargain and more"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing (OK, I've only had it 3 days).
General comments?
I have just replaced my '94 2.0 petrol Xantia hatch with a 1998 (facelifted) model 2.0 turbo (petrol) estate and what a difference. I have always been a fan of the Citroen suspension (I have owned 4 BXs and a Xantia), but this one takes the biscuit.
The old 2.0 (8 valve) engine always felt like it needed a little more poke and the turbo gives it that.. and more! Then there's the toys, the leather...
Not having a sunroof (air con instead) makes it seem so much more spacious and the electric seats are a great improvement.
I could go on and on, and probably will.
