Timing chain snapped after 92 miles and 12 days of purchase.
Interior heating failure.
The car is comfortable to drive.
Responsive when required.
Relaxing on long journeys.
Family friendly.
Sorry to be pedantic, but the Xantia doesn't have a timing "chain", it has a camshaft "belt". Surely it would have been wise to check when/if this had been replaced?
