1994 Citroen Xantia SX review from Finland
"Ladies' car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The engine's outside "breathing hoses" freezed frequently in wintertimes. Had to be replaced with electrically heated ones.
The lambda sond broke at 90 000 kms.
Minor oil leaks from the engine and the pump. The latter is becoming a major leak little by little.
Rear suspension level control problems.
Rear lights had to be replaced: originals went "foggy".
General comments?
Wife loves it. She doesn't have to take care of all those little annoying problems.
Generally a reliable car. Maintaining in Finland extremely expensive: same authorized dealer than Mercedes Benz.
Drives smoothly. Suspension level control has proven to be useful in winter and on these Finnish gravel roads.
