2000 Citroen Xantia SX Auto review from UK and Ireland
"A Few Small problems, but I LOVE IT!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The Front suspension is on the bouncy side, I think the spheres need changing or re-gassing.
Auto Gearbox sometimes struggle to change smoothly between 1st and 2nd gear.
Steering wheel judders under heavy braking (Disc's Warped)
General comments?
This is the 2nd Xantia Auto I have owned as I am a big fan of this car and I have to say it is proving very reliable so far.
The one thing I absolutely love about this car is the superb comfort and feel of the interior, as it has the luxurious mix of alcantara and velour.
The 2.0 16v 135BHP engine is well suited to the car and gearbox and on kick-down
in the sport mode it will hit 60mph in about 10 Seconds which for a big auto is pretty good although if you do this too often your fuel gauge will drop like a brick.
The car still looks good in silver and the interior has worn amazing well.
Mine is a 2000 W Reg with 37000 miles and for the price I paid it's an absolute bargain. Very Happy for the 2nd time.
