Nothing has gone wrong - beautifully built and maintained.
The best car I've ever had (and I've had some beauties inc a Peugeot 206 GTI)
hydractive suspension just awesome
floats on air at high speed - nothing can match it
beautiful soft leather interior
adaptive gearbox sometimes gets confused (changes too late)
2.0 engine can be noisy with revs
will never own another conventionally suspended car
beautiful to look at and to own
a true Citroen
servicing has been done every 10k kms, which is essential for this car - no penny pinching!
But the rewards this car brings are worth it.
Original writer here. I've now had the car for 9 months and have had no problems with it. I check the car (engine bay and underneath) regularly for any faults, but have found few. just a very slight leak from RHS rear sphere (fixed at 70k kms service) and a clip missing from a rear mud-flap (have put in a screw which does the job, but will tell garage at next service about it). the key to owning a Citroen happily is 1) understand the car thoroughly (get a Haynes manual for starters) 2) carry out regular checks 3) find a good dealer 4) don't live in the UK (the salt they put on roads in Winter destroys cars) 5) Drive it with care. btw it was a 205 GTI I had, not a 206 GTI.
