"Excellent"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Where is the windscreen washer pump situated and how can it be accessed? Is it a front and rear pump combined or seperate? Does anyone have the citroen part no of this pump? Replies to trueasbrit@gmail.com

General comments?

Good.

HELLO IME JUST REPLYING TO THE GUY WITH THE CITROEN XM WHO CANNOT FIND THE WINDSCREEN BOTTLE WHEN IN FACT THERE Isn't ONE.

TRUST CITROEN TO BE DIFFERENT WHEN I COULDNT BELIEVE IT WHEN I PULLED THE PLASTIC TRIM BACK AT THE BOTTOM OF THE WINDSCREEN TO REVEAL THAT THE WINSCREEN JETS HAVE MOTORS BUILT INTO THEM INDIVIDUALLY.

WELL WHAT A CRAZY WAY OF DOING THINGS. I KNOW CITROEN XMs ARE AN ELECTONIC ENTHUSIAST DREAM BUT HTIS BITES THE BISCUIT. STEVE IN THE UK WITH A XM SEI MK1 1992.

Sorry, the last poster is wrong. He's probably been fooled by the electrical cables going to the jets, these feed heaters to stop the jets from freezing. The pumps (one front, one rear are in the washer reservoir which is fitted in the left hand front wing. If you have headlamp washers, that reservoir is in the opposite side.

Bad new is you have to remove the wings to get to the tanks!
