1999 Citroen Xsara VTS review from Australia and New Zealand
"An absolute kick to drive"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Boot doesn't lock with central locking.
Buttons on steering wheel are faulty, causing the stereo to change stations by it's self which is rather annoying.
General comments?
Performance is excellent, 167hp stock and can easily be modified to give over 200hp.
Steering has excelent precision, however it does tend to get knocked when going over bumps.
Brakes are good, but are very sensitive, and tend to lock up easily.
The suspension is sensational, rides like a true sports car, however on bumpy roads it does tend to crash into bumps very hard which is annoying.
When Starting the engine or shifting down a gear at high speed the exhaust rattles which is annoying.
