1995 Daewoo Cielo review from Australia and New Zealand
"Overall a very reliable car with heaps of grunt"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Trouble with temperature gauge sensor.
You must do oil changes every 5,000k
If you don't oil deposits settle in the head of the motor.
High beam switch burnt out
bearings needed to be replaced, but after 255,000km you would expect that.
Breather hose breaks a fault. You can correct this by modifying the hose a simple process. Usual rattles inside, electrical wiring isn't the best.
General comments?
The 1.5 is very powerful for its class.
Seating is comfortable and it seems to handle the road very well.
Have driven this car all over the country and its very reliable.
Very simple car and easy to maintain if you're a home handyman.
