1995 Daewoo Espero CD review from Australia and New Zealand
"Could have been a good quality car if not for the engine"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Timing belt tensioner slipped resulting in instant engine failure.
Alternator burnt out.
Several oil leaks.
Engine overheated and the head cracked on the engine.
Fuel lock failed.
Coolant loss.
Central locking always fails.
General comments?
This is the worst car that money can buy! It has died on the side of the road 3 times, and I've only had it a few months. The only good thing about this car is that I learnt heaps about cars and their motors. Also learnt some valuable lessions...
1. Never buy a Daewoo
2. Never buy a Daewoo
3. Never buy a Daewoo
