2001 Daewoo Lanos S review from North America
"A nightmare on wheels!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Electrical problem at 19,700 miles.
Catalytic converter broken at 19,800.
General comments?
There is only one point I need to make. Daewoo does not make parts for the cars it manufactures. If your car breaks down, you are out of luck. The company that makes the parts is out of business. I can no longer use my Daewoo and it is only 1 1/2 years old. The Dealer won't help and Daewoo won't help. Do not buy a Daewoo, you will get stuck sooner or later.
