"This car is a bargain for the price"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

One of the oxygen sensors failed at 50,000 miles. The cam sensor caused the check engine light to come on at 70,000 miles.

General comments?

The 2000 daewoo Lanos is a very reliable car. It has adequate power with the 1.6 engine. It has pretty good handling and holds the road well. Because it is so small, it is scary when one drives next to big rigs. Contrary to what most people say, parts at present are pretty easy to get although for the first few years they were somewhat harder to get.

I have a 2000 Lanos. With about 36,000 miles on it not a bad car. But, when this car company takes the responsibility of making sure they provide adaquate parts available to the public who were stupid enough to buy into their product and turn around and close just about all of their dealerships and stranded all of us who own one of there cars that can't get parts for, then I might be able to give a review. I can't even get brake pads (I had to get a pad simalar and grind it down to fit, and still looking for a timing belt) So who is responsible for this car maker and why did they just walk away from us american owners???!!! I would like a reply..snick2@mindspring.com.
