1999 Daewoo Lanos SX review from North America
"Don't do It!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Where do I start? A few months after my purchase of the vehicle, the company went bankrupt. The lighter wouldn't work 2 days after the company shut down. The brake pads needed to be replaced frequently. The tire rod end needed to be replaced. The doors wouldn't stay shut even if they were locked. The fog lights couldn't be replaced separately and were 200.00 for the set, but I had to wait 2 weeks to get them in because they had to search all of Canada to find someone with parts. The gas tank door wouldn't stay shut. The wires going to the spark plugs were fried and couldn't be replaced because they couldn't find any therefore the plugs needed to be changed every 3 months or the car would be stuck at 2000rpm's. This car has been trouble from day one.
General comments?
I wouldn't even take someones money trap if they paid me too.
