I only fixed normal ware.
4 timing belt in the 1.6, 1 at 130,000 normal,
230,000 normal, 330,000 normal, and 1 now at 430,000.
1 water pump at 230,000.
2 clutch at 180,000 and 370,000.
This car is great! Fast, quick.
I have 304,021 on it, 220000 got a new motor, In it now is a 2.2 with turbo 10psi at 240WHP, I still have the 1.6 motor on my work lanos, I got the 2th lanos with out a motor, Got my 1.6 in to it, that motor is like about 430000 now and going and used NOSS on the motor, from 150,000 to 300,000! IF you look up opel, daewoo copy there motors, Opel block and head are the same that's why its still going.
I'm only 21, I like the car.
My car its all done body kit, 2.2 motor swap. turbo kit, all done inside.
I agree, the daewoo lanos gets a bad rap, but I get 33.8 mpg with 90% highway driving in my 2000 automatic lanos. My friend has a 2000 civic lx and averages 28mpg and she goes to the same school I do everyday. I thought my transmission was bad because it was rough, but it does it's job by shifting! I drove a 2000 automatic hyundai accent and it freaking doesn't wanna shift. It's sluggish compared to a daewoo. So, yeah I love my $1000 car.
