2000 Daewoo Matiz SE review from UK and Ireland
"Would like to be able to judge on a fully operational gearbox!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Changing the gears down into second has been a problem since day one. The dealer said the gearbox would take time to wear in.
After 2000 miles the dealer took the car in but no improvement occurred.
After 3500 miles they agreed to re-work second gear and had the car in for three days.
Still no improvement, the foreman at the garage took the car for a test drive and agreed there was still a problem, but that was seven weeks ago and they still claim to be waiting for parts from Korea.
General comments?
General performance and economy is fine.
Service centre is poor and rarely return your calls.
