2000 Daewoo Matiz SE review from UK and Ireland
"The Dogs Danglies"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Head Gasket gone at 66700. And water pump in the past (not sure when though)
General comments?
I absolutely love this car. Most people would probably avoid ANY daewoo (in particular the matiz) for a small first time modified car, but I was given this in exchange for my old rover 600 and I love it to bits. However, it has had to have the head gasket replaced and the water pump. However, little less of £200 later and all my friends think its the coolest car on the block. Its extraordinarily economical (54MPG!!!) and I wouldn't sell it for the world.
HOWEVER, my one question to everyone out there, do you know what the back pressure needs to be on the exhaust, or can you recommend a 4" exhaust I can buy for UNDER £70? if you can, i'd appreciate it if you can email me on paul_wisdom@msn.com - thanks to anyone who can help!
