"A Luxury car for a bargain"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The only problem with the car is that the check engine light keeps on coming on and the car doesn't pick up that quick and also the cruise control doesn't always work sometimes.

General comments?

I have had this car for about 4 months and I am very satisfied with the results. the car is great on gas milege and its is smooth when I drive it. my parents bought it for me in february and they both like the car more than there own car. and this car has a great system and a standard cd player. it also has leather and power everything I love that car and I will keep it for a long time.

Daewoos were/are built in S Korea. They were sold in North America until 2002, but are now available again as the Chevrolet Aveo, Suzuki Forenza and Suzuki Verona, all of which are built at the GM Daewoo factory in S. Korea.

The check engine light seems to be a common complaint among Daewoo owners.

The review writer had better look into replacing the timing belt on his Nubira if he has not already done so. The mileage recommendation is 60K for replacement. The car has an interference engine, meaning if the timing belt breaks while the car is running, the pistons meet the valves and the owner meets a bill for a replacement engine!

The check engine light problem is covered by a recent recall of the cam shaft sensor. You can go on the web and find a GM dealer who repairs Daewoo's. I have 110,000 miles on my 4yr old Daewoo and the check engine light has been the only problem so far. I love the car!!!
