1998 Daewoo Nubira SEi review from UK and Ireland

The car burns a litre of oil for every 200 miles it does.

Averages around 23.5MPG which is awful considering the previous car (Punto) does 50MPG.

Movement in gearbox.

Slight tracking alignment issue.

Vague steering.

If your after a cheap estate with loads of equipment and space then this is for you. The petrol consumption is awful along with its facination with drinking oil.

The car comes equipped with (E/W, A/C, ABS, Dual Airbags, Alarm, Remote Central Locking with Deadlocks, Immob., and loads of bings and bongs (Seat Belts etc.).

The would compare this car with a Lada, its not quick, sexy or bone shaking. More bland, laughable and practical.

For £600 on an R plate for an estate I would say its good value although it was only kept for two months due to the petrol.

The security and equipment is excellent with a loud siren and standard across the range.

Boot space is excellent and as I kayak it came in very handy along with the roof rack.

No wind noise up until around 90 (on private race track) and brakes fairly good.

This is not a performance vehicle, the acceleration is similar to a go kart. But someone claims on here to have done a 0 - 60 in 5 seconds, more like twenty.

Reason for sale; going back to the Punto. More fun to drive and economical. Fiat Rule!!!
