1999 Daewoo Tico SL review from Romania
"Cheap and reliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
No major problems.
Changed distribution at 70000. Change the hand brake cable at 50000, tires at 60000.
The battery is not that strong (but the car is easy to push if the battery goes down); it has to be changed every 4 years.
General comments?
The car is very small, which is good in a crowded city, parking is very easy.
Parts are also very cheap, and the fuel consumption is small. The car has only about 660 kg, so you can be the first to start at the traffic light.
The handling is not the best, but you can say it's OK.
For long distance drives, it's not the best car; you don't have much space in the trunk, and also it's not very safe concerning the impact, but the good thing is that you will never be able to break it :)
