Engine noise
- During the next oil change, get your mechanic to add MotorKote 100 engine wear protector into both the engine and transmission oil. Run it in for a month. One application can last you a long time. Lookup magdaco.com.sg
- On the underside of bonnet, put on a layer of heat and noise damping sheets. eg. Soundguard.
Vibration:
- Vibrates when the air-con cuts in. I replaced it with a better quality Sanden air-con compressor. It robs less power from the car.
- Engine idling speed falls below 1000rpm. Needs engine tuning by a mechanic. For cold morning starts only, pull the choke lever and rev up the engine.
With regular servicing and maintenance checks, this car can go a long way. This car is also spacious in its class.
