1993 Daihatsu Charade GSXI review from UK and Ireland
"Don't underestimate a charade like this one"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
First the water pump went which I found very hard to replace. The seats do tend to wear, but for the age of the car that is to be expected. The shocks went very recently and needed replacing.
General comments?
I love this car I find it very quick. The interior is very sporty which is what most people my age look for in a car (21). Charade DeTomaso is so rare in Ireland so a lot of people think it's a gt starlet and are very surprised to find what the car actually is. The car itself handles very well it looks great and comes in handy for driving in the city. I have added some mods of my own to top this car off I have added a stainless steel exhaust system running through to a custom built performance manifold this gives the car a nice roar and the ractive air filter helps. Overall I would like to say thank you to whoever came up whit the idea of transforming an ugly car into a car you could be proud to sit in.
