2000 Daihatsu Terios dvvt review from Costa Rica
"Great economy all terrain option"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
One of the bushings on the sway bar endlinks fell out or was never there.
General comments?
I rented this car for a week and it is great for what it was made for, an economical option for rural areas where you have to cross terrible roads. It is peppy enough at low speeds because it is light, the suspension is very adept at being comfortable on incredibly rough roads yet still controllable. Full time 4x4 with optionally locking center differential gets out of any conditions and the high clearance fords rivers easily. But it can't go more than 100kph comfortably.
