2005 Daihatsu Terios SX review from Australia and New Zealand
"Economical, functional - after-sales service could do with improvement"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Engine revs will not shut down (about a one sec delay) when accelerator is released causing difficult gear changing in the first three gears or when moving off up hill.
General comments?
A good economical all purpose car. The vehicle is able to tow, can carry five small people and provides a good high driving position.
The terrios is slightly underpowered in city traffic, not much foot room (compared to the falcon) and has scary cornering ability.
Would like to know if anyone has had problems with the slow response of the accelerator. I think this is an issue, but convincing the dealer that it is, is a problem.
