General wear and tear items needed replacing after 30 so years.
The front end has been rebuilt including new nolathane bushes and bolts. All four wheel bearings have been replaced. The tie rod ends and idler arm were extremely worn out so they have been replaced.
Original seats were ripped and uncomfortable so they have been replaced with skyline seats.
The carburettors needed a rebuild and service.
Small amounts of rust need to be repaired along with most of the rubber seals.
The dash pad was cracked and tattered so it has been covered in fake leather.
With most of the repairs completed this car is a joy to drive. Handles like a dream and peoples reackons when they see this car is priceless.
With new trim and seats this car looks as good as any new car.
Once I get the twin SU carbs tuned properly this car will be a blast to drive.
A true Puddle Jumper has to be made in England!
Response to comment 1 and review: A true puddle jumper does not have to be made in England. Japan made some pretty good ones. My father sometimes talks about his Old orange Datsun.
Apparently, you could see day through not just the windows, but through other parts as well!
