1983 Datsun 720 Twin Cab review from Australia and New Zealand
"Goes where you point it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
General rust. These were known to be very rust prone.
General comments?
At this year (1983), it's like any other Dinosaur..
Had its day years ago.
Only real use is on a farm or similar. Mine is solely for driving down a bad track in 4WD to check on my water pump situated by/in a creek.
Doubt it they were ever quick... Front suspension would not handle a lot of serious off road workover a length of time.. However as a cheap off roader with the odd factory **Bells and whistles ** that Toyota Hi Luxes didn't have... the old Datsun/Nissan 720 4WD is a good old plugger.
