1999 Dodge Caravan Base review from North America
"The Caravan is awesome and Perfect for everyone"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing is wrong with the car except the Dealer who services them.
We brought our Van to the Dodge Dealer and they did some trannsmission work and added a dye to see if it was leaky when it WASN'T LEAKING!.
The Next day, we brought it to Toronto (50KM AWAY) and The Gears wouldn't switch ON THE HIGHWAY. We were close to the place we bought the van (not a Chrysler Dealer) and they said there was a Transmission Failure. And Its is Because of that Dye they added in the Tank. It will cost around $3000.00 To repair, but luckily we have warranty.
General comments?
They Vehicle is awesome. I am only 12 years old, but I know all about the Caravan. I read through the whole owners manual when we bought it and I learned a lot. You may not think much of me since I am young, but I know a lot. The Dealer tried to add something the van didn't need, but I knew its history burned the tank once before, but I know, and I told them an Alternative and they did it and it saved us more money.
