1993 Dodge Caravan LE review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing really. Minor stuff like an electrical connection for the power seat breaking. Easy enough to fix on my own I suppose. However my parents had a 1990 Caravan, after 150,000 miles the automatic transmission died... we replaced it three times (my dad works at Torrington, a supplier of bearings for Chrysler, he knew some people, hence he got the transmissions free)... They finally ditched the 1990 and got a 1998, V-6 3.8L one (I never thought I'd say this about a minivan, but that one is fun to drive).
General comments?
It's a minivan... it's not the greatest thing to drive, but it's comfortable enough. The 3.3L is kinda slow... I've got this dream of putting a racing engine in... people get mad when they're burned by a minivan. Ah well... its better than my friends 1.2L Geo Metro...
