1996 Dodge Caravan plain review from North America
"Would not recommend to others"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The wipers come on when you make left or right turns.
The horn dosen't work any more.
The air bag light stays on all the time.
When the van is first started you hear a high pitch coming from the motor.
The transmission some times will not kick down when you come to a stop.
When accelerating the transmission slips.
There is always oil coming from the motor, but the garages can't correct the problem.
When accelerating you hear a high pitch coming from the valve covers.
This van is a pain to do any engine work like spark plugs and to change the timing belt.
General comments?
This van is very comfortable to ride in it handles the corners good the body structure is good.
But however the blind spots are very poor for driving.
