1992 Dodge Colt Base review from North America
"Great value for money and fun"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Engine blew, possibly because I let it overheat badly on two occasions.
Gearbox went on two occasions.
General comments?
The Best value for money vehicle I have owned.
Good acceleration, great mileage, easy to park.
I owned this car for 8 years and a silly woman pulled out in front of me (on her cellular). Front end damage cost more than car.
I now have a Lexus but I miss this car. Its mileage was superb, handling good and it was relatively comfortable, even for a 6ft 3ins person
You can get one now (with gas crisis) for about $1000 and it is well worth it.
In fact I am looking for a 1992 base model again, at the right price.
Wonderful
