1967 Dodge D100 review from North America
"Better than most Chevy and Ford of same vintage"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Body is a bit rusty. Doors fit poorly. Engine required overhaul. Brakes needed work. What do you expect from a 30 plus year old truck?
General comments?
Once the repairs were completed, the truck runs fine. Starts in all weather, very good on snowy roads at a reasonable speed. Heater is not enough for the still leaky cab, I have more work to do... The "close ratio" 4 speed is interesting. Shifts perfectly, but the "granny low" is not quite what you would expect. Low enough to pull, but not the creeper gear I was expecting. 3rd gear is higher than a normal 4 speed as well, 60 mph can be maintained up any hill.
