2000 Dodge Dakota Sport review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My engine blew at 86000km.
11 miles per gallon highway.
Third set of front shocks installed at 60,000 km.
General comments?
Dodge's response to repairs resulted in a fight to have almost anything repaired, dodge tried to do anything to avoid accepting responsibility for their inferior manufacturing quality control.
I have never owned a vehicle that has required as much maintenance as this Dakoda.
99% of driving has been on paved roadways, 1% on gravel roads. Unit has never been placed in 4 wheel drive.
