"Quick, reliable truck"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Needed new radiator at about 110kmi.

Needed clutch, rear main seal, axel boots, drivers side torque converter, u-joints, exhaust, and other minor things over the whole time I've owned it.

One thing its great for is making real weird noises, the motor has always made a wierd clatter sound at idle, no matter what the running temp. Its always run fine, just sounds lieka diesel sometimes. Plus the trans likes to kind of moan and squeal, never mad ea diff in driving just sounds wierd.

PAINT, the paint has been chipping since the day I bought it. Kills the whole look of the truck.

General comments?

It's an extremely reliable truck. It was my first vehicle and I really do love it. I paid about 3 grand for it, was a pretty good deal, since its 4wd. It gets about 16 miles to the gallon, which is real bad for a v6. Its real peppy and I've always been able to keep up with the ricers. Plus it's a light truck and its plenty fun to drive. Also, the 4wd has always worked great.

I commute with it now to school about 3-400 miles a week. It does well on the thruway with a good alinment and decent tires.

Rust hasn't been a problem, its just the paint chipping, its too bad, the electric blue would look great if it wasnt.

It's a good little work horse. You can beat the piss out of it towing and hauling. It holds its own. Its basically the perfect get around town truck.

I love the truck and hope someday to rebuild it and put a lift in it. its always been warm and comfortable to drive.

Plus, again, the reliability has always been 100%, never left me stranded.

Hey, I just bought a 1992 Dodge Dakota Sport 4X4 with a lift with 66000 miles for 500 bucks. It has sat for 8 years and slid into a semi. Put in a fuel pump, new fender hood some bushings. This lil truck is a mean lil truck.
