"Over 100,000 miles and still going strong"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The "CHECK ENGINE" light came on at 72,000 miles, detailing an evaporative emission control problem. It was solved by replacing the gas cap. No big deal.
The first major repair came at 109,000 miles when the water pump failed. Dealer service was excellent, though; the truck was fixed within 24 hours, and the new water pump is covered by a one-year warranty. They replaced the thermostat as well.
General comments?
Aside from the water pump, this truck has been rock-solid and problem-free.
It's also very fun to drive; the steering is precise, and the V-6 produces a nice amount of torque, making it pretty quick off the line. At 80 miles per hour, the engine spins at a mere 2,200 RPM.
The only dislikes I have are the noise from the dual exhaust and the lack of interior cargo room in the standard cab. But those are minor quibbles.
Overall, this truck has been very kind to me.
