1993 Dodge Dakota review from North America
"great truck"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Radiator, at 88000 miles.
Gas gauge floats (gas tank) 0n 2nd float
reupholstered headliner at 91000 miles.
Normal wear items (tires, shocks etc.)
General comments?
I really like my Dakota with the V8.
Heats up in the winter in 3 minutes or so.
A/c has always been great, never needed recharging or service.
Extremely quick, never have to worry about having the power when I need it.
After the problems my wife's Montana van has had, I can't complain about the few and far between repairs needed for the Dakota.
Complaint? OK A little small in the cab, bad in the snow and ice, well it is a 2wd truck.
It saddens me to see my friend growing old. Someday age will take it's toll on the Dakota, as Everything will eventually wear out, and it won't be practical to fix and replace.
I hate to think of buying another vehicle because I know nothing will be as reliable.
