1984 Dodge Daytona review from North America
"Please were your seat belt O\S bars on the dash"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Tilt column was bad when I bought it, The turbo didn't spool up.
General comments?
When I got this car it was sitting in a feild covered with grass and dust.
After rebuilding the stock column and lubing all of the linkage to the injection and turbo and draining and refueling the tank changing the oil changed the plugs put in the batery from my truck it started up with no problems.
Drove the car as a daily driver for 2 months needed wipers, tires, and an alighnment, first snow of the year helped that decision.
Now the car has had new Z rated tires, cold air intake and 3 inch mandrel bent exhaust no cats and a real low restriction mufler 3 inch straight through 4 inch out with help from a friend at an exhaust shop, Mopar performance computer, Holey 255 gph fuel pump, 40 lb injectors, and a Centerforce duel friction clutch.
At now less than 3100 lbs this car eats Mustangs for breakfast...
