2001 Dodge Durango SLT review from North America
"I love my durango"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Not very much. the bigest problem I have had is the driver seat swithc plate keeps breaking. The plate goes around the outside of the seat to hold the seat power buttons. I have put brake pads a couple of times but that is just normal maintenance. I drive in bumper to bumper traffic 50 miles or more each day.
It is running so good now its scary. I love my durango
and want to keep it a long time.
We use Valvoline oil and change the oil about 3000 miles.
We check the belts, battery and wires as required. We also did not have to replace the battery until the car was 6 years old and it did not go out then, my husband was afraid it would and leave me stranded so he replaced the battery again normal maintenance.
General comments?
I love my durango
It is very comfortable to drive
It is easy to get in and out of
I have only put one set of tires in over 100 k miles.
