1999 Dodge Durango SLT review from North America
"A good looking, but bad running truck"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
- At 60,000km the torque converter broke while I was idling at a light.
- A week after it was fixed by the dealer, the transmission failed.
- The front tires wear unevenly.
- Left ball joint was changed at 65,000km.
- Rotors and pads changed at 70,000km.
General comments?
- I thought that this SUV was better designed than the competition.
- It looked great, and had the Dodge reputation. Dodge is known for their trucks.
- This vehicle was not worth the price tag.
- I grew up driving Ford and Chevy vehicles. Dodge is no better than other North American vehicles, not worth paying the premium.
- I bought an extended warranty, and when it expires, I'll be selling it.
