2001 Dodge Durango SLT review from North America
"The 2001 Dodge Durango SLT is a terrible, costly buy"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
3 of 4 power windows' motors have failed. The windows fall down randomly. The cooling system had to be replaced. Heater Core rotted out. Feed pipes from the radiator to the heater core rotted out. Horn electronics broke. Horn honked at every left turn until we disconnected the air horn. Airbag light came on randomly. The infinity speaker system began to make cracking, loud noises when we hit bumps.
General comments?
The car is falling to pieces, and began to fall apart RIGHT after our warranty expired. Maybe ours was a lemon, but lemon or no lemon, we're very, very disappointed with the buy. We have spent far too much on repairs, even though we maintained the car very well.
