1989 Dodge Dynasty review from North America

Fuel injector at 120,000 miles.

Computer at 120,000 miles.

Coolant temperature sensor at 142,000 miles.

Transmission at 146,000 miles.

CV shafts at 148,000 miles.

Air conditioning compressor at 149,000 miles.

I love this car despite the 2.5 liter being slow at times, it has good pickup and go power off the line, but the top end speed makes you feel slow.

The car makes good gas mileage, I estimate I get 33-38 miles per gallon, but a more accurate recording is 300 miles on a 14 gallon tank.

I got this car in battered shape, and didn't plan on keeping it very long, it certainly has changed my mind, I wouldn't get rid of it for nothing now.

The seats feel soft and luxurious, and they have a high quality look to them too.

I love its reliability, when it got below 0, my truck wouldn't start, my Dynasty was on empty and I thought for sure the gas would have froze. I got in, turned the key, and it fired right up without hesitation.

The engine seems tough for what it is. One day the radiator hose came loose and the car lost a lot of coolant. I drove it for an hour or so on the H mark, got it home, let it cool and started it up after making the repairs. It still acts like nothing ever happened.

Simply put I love my Dodge, I would buy another Dynasty in a heartbeat, they look good, perform good, and even the base model makes you feel like you have style and money. Forget it's rivals, they couldn't handle me like this car can.
