1990 Dodge Dynasty LE review from North America
"An excellent silent speeder"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My radiator and alternator blew around the same time at about 55,000 miles.
I've had electrical problems such as the following: power door locks not working properly, remote trunk release works on occasion, and interior lights do not come on with switch, they only turn on when door is opened.
General comments?
Fantastic car for the price. I purchased it for 2600 and have put under 500 into it and runs like a brand new car.
The car is easy to work on, such as I put in a new audio system into the trunk. Holes were found semi-easily to run the wires yet major placement was found to be a pain.
With the 3.3L V6 it runs about 170 horsepower at the flywheel. With the size of the car the 170 horses give no second thought when another car pulls up beside wanting to race.
Truthfully I've beaten a 2002 Eclipse and several Mustangs. Car tops out with some effort around 130-140. With speeds of over 120 with the correct tires the car has no problem driving this fast, and as of yet I've no problem with the engine exceeding these speeds.
