Typical things, like the brakes.
Had to replaced O2 Sensor, but only cost maybe $28.
Very noisy when driving on the highway, takes a little getting used. Like the rattling and wind noises.
Runs very well and for its size still gives us about 22.5 mpg.
Built in child car seats - love them.
A lot of trunk room.
Very comfortable in any area of the van front or back.
Would buy it again.
I had heard horror stories about the transmission would go out on this van... and it did. I think someone needs to clarify how to use the overdrive and when not to. I like my van, however I think it stinks that if there is a known problem with the transmissions going out that there should be a recall of some type to correct this problem as not all of us can AFFORD to replace transmissions when ur a single parent.
Dodge should have toyota build their automatic transmissions,. if they were to do this it would be the best car on the road, dodge makes great cars and engines, but they have not mastered building a dependable automatic transmission that will last, Ted in GA.
Just now after 267,000 miles we are getting rid of our 1994
dodge caravan. I hate to part with it. We have never had any
major problems with it and it is still getting 25 mpg, but
the transmission is finally giving out. Thinking of getting
a 1999 dodge caravan. Any problems with that year?
