2001 Dodge Intrepid review from North America

From almost the day I bought the car it makes a disquieting cracking sound when the wheel is turned sharply, in the right front wheel assembly. Many times I've requested the shop check it and they say it is okay, but still makes the noise. I've noticed a bolt on vehicle sticks out just millimeters from hitting the tire.

After my last service which I was assured the car would not stall or die anymore, it has continued to on at least 10-15 occasions. Going downhill when one would take their foot off the accelerator and coast to slow vehicle down before applying the brake, the car shudders just as if it is shifting into reverse all on its own. A scary feeling.

Where the vehicle use to always be dependable, now it dies on turns, or whenever it feels like it.

Have had three seperate visits to the Dodge dealership regarding the car running only on 5 cylinders, and they keep tweaking the car to make it think it is running on six. Last time car was at dealership 2 weeks while they waited for someone to fly out to approve doing a valve job and still it seems like inferior work because they approved a lesser job.

I love the interior of my car and the lines of the car I love, but beauty seems to be only skin deep as the workings of the vehicle seem to be rotten.
