1999 Dodge Intrepid review from North America

The driver side window is off track.

Short in the right back turn signal.

Replaced tie rods.

Replaced sway bar links.

Replaced something located in the front of the engine that leaked coolant.

Replaced vacuum hose thingy, I don't know the names for these parts.

My AC worked, then didn't, then did, now don't again.

The heat only works on high.

Burns oil. Someone suggested I used slick 50 and it slowed the burning of the oil.

The door gets stuck because of the plastic door interior, replaced with washer and bolts. (been stuck in my car a few times!)

Passenger door handle sticks, so you have to push it down before closing the door or I can throw you out while moving.

Trunk locks up sometimes, but I've sprayed it with WD40.

Trunk release button don't work.

Remote start works fine.

I went to leave the store one day and it started funny and it never has given me any serious problems so I rushed to my garage and they did the test and said my head gasket has gone, when I had it taken apart the head gasket was fine and it was the intake gasket. My Intrepid has never over heated and for two years hasn't given me too many problems. The possibility of the head going was the biggest thing that could of gone wrong. The roads in my town have a lot of potholes, so wheel damage and suspension issues I can understand.

Intake manifold gaskets being replaced.

The car has been good to me despite some fixings. I usually only take my car to get the works done once a year and she holds out until then.
