General comments?
This car has cause me great pain in my pockets. When I purchased the car, it had 5,400 miles. I purchased this junk in January 1998. Over the years, I have put out over $9,000 dollars in repairs. On April 29th, I took my car in for repairs due to hearing noise under the hood, which cost me $1,827. My car would not pass an emission test due to a failed Transmission Control Module. I also had my engine flushed, two belts replaced, both tie rod ends replaced and the basic tune up brake inspection. On May 1, I called the Dodge dealership back to inform them that the noise was still their. I took the car back to service on May 8th. I was then told that my engine was going bad. I questioned them as to why I wasn't told this when the car was there on April 29th. They just said to me, we didn't know. I could have cried like a baby once they said it would cost me $5,000 to replace the engine. I will never purchase another Dodge Intrepid again.
