1996 Dodge Intrepid Base review from North America
"I can't wait to buy another one"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Over the years, the most annoying thing is that the air conditioner would smell funky if not used every day. I believe the problem is a clogged evaporator drain, but so far, nobody knows what to do about it...
It goes through brakes rather quickly.
Water pump replaced at 125000 - radiator a week later. Not sure if it was coincidental, or maybe the water pump was OK and it was the radiator leaking.
General comments?
Love the cab forward design and the roominess it provides. It handles like a sports car - and moves like one too. I have the speeding tickets to prove it, too...
