2003 Dodge Intrepid SXT review from North America

There is a small water leak under the driver's seat at the location of the rug fastener. It appeared at 50000kms and so far I am unable to locate the source. Dealership unclogged the A/C drain hose, but that did not stop the leak. I am still at a loss of where it is coming from.

Around 45000km the bearings on one of the engine pulleys needed to be replaced.

The mirror adjustment switch for adjusting the drivers mirror is spring loaded, and popped out and needed replacing at 40000km.

The console vinyl cover started cracking at both sides of the shifter stick. I pulled it out and fixed it myself since the dealership did not want to replace a $300cdn part.

Wipers are difficult to replace since it is all one long unit. But I was able to find ones that slid into the wiper track - even though it was very difficult to do.

Overall I am still happy with the handling of the car.

I find the interior to be comfortable and quiet during long highway trips.

I find the car has pick-up when I need to get out and pass a vehicle or truck.

It pulls my utility trailer and 15ft fiberglass without much effort. I can easily haul the boat out of the water up the boat launch in low gear without spinning the front wheels.

The handling of the car is nice and stable around corners and driving at highway speeds.
