1998 Dodge Intrepid review from North America
"I would not EVER OWN another DODGE. Peroid!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
When we 1st brought the car home everything was fine. Shortly after learning all the features on the car was when we started to see things go wrong.
I'll get the exact dates to anyone who wants to know, but here is our list.
1: Starter had to be replaced (but rather than let an experienced guy do it, they let a guy do it that didn't know how) Which brings us to..
2: The same day they were fixing the starter, the guy that was working on the car popped a coolant hose and all the coolant came gushng out.
3: the mystery OIL LIGHT made it's 1st appearence, right after an oil change no less.
4: Inner and Outter tie rods both had to be replaced
5: drivers side windows jumps offtrack.
6: and then there's the "vanishing oil" thing.
7: and now..@ 105000 miles, our 1998 Dodge Intrepid is officially dead, we called the finance company on friday to come pick it up, but they haven't even come to get it yet.
General comments?
Since learning of the Class Action Lawsuit we have learned a great deal about the shady-ness of car makers. I personally am pledging to make as much noise as possible for the sake of us all.
