1998 Dodge Intrepid review from North America
"I will never buy a car with the 2.7L engine again"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My starter was replaced. I had all new breaks and rotors installed. My AC compressor is shot. I installed a new alternator. The O2 sensors have all been replaced and continue to falter. The rear breaks have been replaced and break drums have been returned. The water pump has been replaced. The timing chains have been replaced.
General comments?
The car, when its running correctly, is beautiful. The problem is its always in the repair shop. The 2.7L engine appears to be one of the worst ever made. I have done some research over the internet and have come up with some web sites everyone that has the 2.7L engine should look at. WWW.dontbuyone.org and WWW.datatown.com/chrysler/
