2001 Dodge Intrepid SE review from North America
"A nightmare"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Burns oil
alternator locked up and destroyed 3 belts as well as wiring harness (pigtails)
General comments?
This car was a perfect choice, so I thought, when I got it. about 2 months later, oil light started to come on and I was adding oil quite frequently. now, after having it and it has 66000 miles, the car shut down on the highway. total system failure. I was told it was due to the alternator locking up. this caused 3 belts to be destroyed and the wiring harness is also a loss. cost: $2000 not including labor!!!
