Sludge Build Up.
Rubber Trim Coming Off The Drivers Door.
Have had the motor flushed 3 times within the last month. Oil pressure light still comes on.
Can re-glue the rubber strip.
Oil 'flushes' are NOT going to do you any good; they are very harmful to even a good engine as they're basically nothing but kerosene, and in fact may be doing more harm than good. Usually, if the engine is sludged up, significant damage has already occurred, but if it is determined that the engine is still salvageable, then go to www.auto-rx and order a few bottles. It's helped many a 2.7 owner save their sludged-up engines. It really is a shame Dodge screwed up so bad with that engine. It, like the 1.8 turbo in the VW Passat, should only ever use synthetic oil.
I agree 100%, only use synthetic oil in your engine. And I'm not talking about Castrol Syntec or Mobil 1, those are snake oil's. They claim to use true synthetic oil, but in reality they are using a group II base oil that has been hydro-cracked. Basically just higher quality group II oil branded as group III synthetic. The only true synthetics are group IV and V synthetics, and they will do a much better job at withstanding the heat generated from the 2.7's. Also be sure to run Auto RX in your engine to clean out all sludge and to prevent it from ever forming again. Good luck.
